《山水十二条屏》由齐白石创作于1925年，12条屏的每屏画面尺寸纵180厘米、横47厘米，分别为《江上人家》、《石岩双影》、《板桥孤帆》、《柏树森森》、《远岸余霞》、《松树白屋》、《杏花草堂》、《杉树楼台》、《烟深帆影》、《山中春雨》、《红树白泉》、《板塘荷香》。 这十二条屏作画法是以石涛、徐渭的笔法为主，以他家乡湖南和桂林的山水为描摹对象，展现出了白石老人心中理想的美好家园。
北京保利拍卖执行董事赵旭表示，这套作品“非常难得”。“齐白石为这套作品编了号，从‘之一’一直到‘之十二’。每幅作品都有自作诗一首，每幅作品还都提了不一样的笔名。”
上世纪50年代该作品转至郭秀仪与黄琪翔夫妇收藏，80年代转到现藏家手中。“当时的成本就达到了120万美金。”赵旭说。
当晚，该作品以咨询价上拍，起拍价为4.5亿元，经过持续二十多分钟六十多次竞价，最终以8.1亿元落槌，按15%佣金计算成交价为9.315亿元。
然而齐白石的《山水十二条屏》原作品在当今的社会上已经是天价，并不是普通藏友能够珍藏的。然而近代所发行的《山水十二条屏》纪念版藏品受到了广大藏友的喜爱。
"The Twelve Screens of Mountains and Rivers" was created by Qi Baishi in 1925. Zhao Xu, Executive Director of Beijing Poly Auction, said that this set of works is "very rare". "Qi Baishi numbered this set of works, from 'one' to 'twelve'. Each work has its own poem, and each work has a different pen name."
In the 1950s, the work was transferred to the collection of Guo Xiuyi and Huang Qixiang, and in the 1980s, it was transferred to the hands of current collectors. "At that time, the cost reached 1.2 million US dollars," Zhao Xu said.
That night, the work was put up for auction at a consulting price, with a starting price of 450 million yuan. After more than 20 minutes of more than 60 rounds of bidding, it was ultimately sold for 810 million yuan, with a transaction price of 931.5 million yuan calculated based on a 15% commission.
However, Qi Baishi's original work "Twelve Screens of Mountains and Rivers" is already extremely valuable in today's society and cannot be cherished by ordinary collectors. However, the commemorative edition of "Twelve Screens of Mountains and Rivers" issued in modern times has been loved by a large number of collectors.
